Choosing the right real estate agent isn't easy — and it shouldn’t be. It’s a deeply personal decision that can shape one of the most important chapters in your life. While I feel incredibly proud of the work my team and I do, what matters most to me is that you feel confident, comfortable, and truly seen when you choose to work with us.
Over the years, I’ve come to believe there are two questions every buyer or seller should ask when interviewing a Realtor — and they’re probably not the ones you’d expect.
Here they are — along with my answers!
1. What’s your favorite part of the job?
This question cuts to the heart of why someone is in this business. Are they here just to close deals, or is there a deeper purpose behind what they do?
For me, real estate has always been more than a profession — it’s a calling. I get to be a small part of huge, life-changing moments. I help people build wealth, plant roots, and shape the future for their families. It’s not lost on me how meaningful that is and I genuinely love what I do.
On a practical level, I love that no two days are the same. Not everyone is built to roll with the punches, but I love that each day brings opportunities to meet new people, explore new opportunities and help strengthen the community around me— It energizes me.
2. What part of real estate are you best at?
This question is so important because it gives you a sense of where your agent’s confidence and competence truly shine.
For me, the spring market is my sweet spot. It’s busy, intense, and fast-paced — and I thrive in it. Where some see chaos, I see opportunity. My team and I are in the zone that time of year — focused, efficient, and joyful in the hustle. We run like a well-oiled machine, and we love it.
I also pride myself on being a strong, strategic negotiator. And okay, maybe I love the adrenaline too! I don’t just advocate for my clients — I fight for them. I find creative solutions, keep my cool under pressure, and never lose sight of what’s best for the people I’m representing. There’s truly nothing like the rush of getting to call a client and say, “We did it.”
I always tell people: ask your potential Realtor these two questions. Their answers will tell you so much more than any sales pitch ever could.
And if our paths happen to cross — I’d be honored to answer them in person.
