I met Whitney and Scott several years ago when Scott’s parents introduced me to them. We have worked together several times, and I was so glad to be a part of them transitioning to their next chapter in the suburbs!
How Did You Find Millie?
We were originally introduced to Millie by Scott’s parents, who had also previously worked with Millie. That was a little over eight years ago when we originally purchased our home.
Did You Buy and/or Sell?
Over the years we have purchased two homes from Millie and sold one.
Did You Use Any of Millie’s Recommended Vendors?
Yes! Millie’s recommendations were super helpful and one of the reasons she is so great. We worked with Erin Austin, Millie’s preferred organizer, as well as Carlos, who is her contractor, for a quick remodel of our kitchen and bathroom. Carlos took plans from our designer and quickly and easily executed the vision. Both experiences were great.
What Was the Best Part of Working Together?
Millie’s knowledge and experience in real estate are what set her apart. She also didn’t pressure us to sell until we were ready, which was dependent on finding a home in the suburbs. When the time was right she explained her recommendations for work we should complete prior to listing.
We called this getting the home “Millie Ready,” prior to listing because she pointed out last-minute things to refresh that we hadn’t thought of, but that a buyer would notice such as painting the laundry room, and power washing and painting the garage.
