While many people focus on the spring market to buy and sell, I recently worked with buyers that found their dream home in October. My clients Katie and Max reached out to me in late September because they decided to relocate back to Chicago from San Diego this spring. I know Katie through her parents, whose condo I sold this past May. After a great Zoom call, I connected them with my loan officer, Neena, and attorney, Marc.
Once we found 2701 N Greenview, I negotiated a longer closing to help Katie and Max stick to their timeline. The listing agent is a great person who sits behind me in church every week and we were excited to work together! We put in a strong offer, still working with Katie and Max's timeline, and beat the spring rush.
The home itself is in Tamerlane, one of Chicago’s most sought after townhome communities in Lincoln Park, with only 12 total units, all overlooking treelined Greenview. One of my favorite parts of this home is that natural light streams in from the east, west, and south throughout the home. When you are inside, it truly lives like a single-family home.
Another great aspect of the home is its versatility, perfectly captured in the cozy family room that could easily double as a home office and boasts custom built-ins and easy sliding door access to the private blue late patio. With a built-in waterfall, beautiful landscaping, and plenty of space to accommodate a large dining table and lounge area, you are sure to enjoy a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
The main level is filled with understated elegance, highlighted by the living area boasting multiple oversized arched windows and custom fireplace. The formal dining room is the perfect dinner party setting, and the newly installed custom wine closet will set your gathering apart!
I absolutely love all of the windows in the kitchen! Other special features in this kitchen include quartz countertops, large eat-in island, high-end appliances, wine/beverage refrigerator and custom backsplash.
One feature of this home I also love is that all three bedrooms are on the same level, and all are ensuite. In the luxurious primary suite find dramatic 12-foot cathedral ceilings, four generous closets and custom gas fireplace. You will never want to leave the relaxation found within the spa-like primary bath with gorgeous herringbone tile, double vanity, designer lighting, Phyllrich faucets, and glass closed shower. The two additional bathrooms on this level are just as spectacular with Carrera marble countertops, walnut vanities from Studio 41, Koehler toilets, and brass faucets and hardware.
Not to be outdone, there is no competing with this home’s ideal location close to everything Lincoln Park has to offer including Wrightwood Park, Southport corridor, Whole Foods, public transportation and so much more!
I am so happy for Katie and Max! Together we are able to find them an incredible home that I am thrilled they will enjoy for years to come.
